The temperature is perfect and the wildflowers are putting on a show. I had salmon so what to make? I came up with this for the Traeger.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
- 1 tablespoon roughly chopped capers
- juice of 1/4 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon group black peppter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 salmon fillets
Directions
- Preheat grill to 450F
- Mix all ingredients except salmon in small bowl
- Put salmon on small sheet pan. Coat generously with butter mix. You may need to use your fingers to get it to spread. You may have extra mix.
- Cook salmon for about 12 minutes on grill
- Optionally add a small spoon of the extra butter mix.
